Note: After the end of World War I, Jones moved to her mother-in-law's home in Milan, Georgia, where she remained until she left her husband in 1924. She left her daughter Rosalie with her mother and sought work, first in Fitzgerald then in Jacksonville, Florida. She talks about other jobs, including working on the railroad, about her friends, adventures and encounters, and about going to Miami.
