Seamus Ennis I 2/51

February 8, 1951
Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland
Tape 3306 and 3307 are comprised of dubs of disc recordings made from the Irish Folklore Commission archives. The original sources are unspecified, though some of what we assume are accession numbers are given. Also included in this session are dubs of Irish material that may or may not have been made from the holdings of the IFC, such as Mary Joyce's "Song of Strabane" (copied from the BBC) and Peter Kennedy's recording of Seamus Ennis' "The Herring's Head."
