Note: Jean Ritchie tells about how hearing "The Hebrew Children" performed by two women at a folklore meeting when she was in college at the University of Kentucky. One played the dulcimer while the other sang. She remarks that some of the text is the same as in the song she learned from her mother, "I've Got A Mother Gone To Glory."
About the session: Jean Ritchie performs ballads, game songs, carols, and a hymn.
