Note: Preceded by introduction by John A. Lomax of participants. Ms. Earline Hughes led the students (nine girls, two boys) in singing. Lomax calls the school the "Drew Colored High School"; according to Stephen Wade in his The Beautiful Music All Around Us, the school was "called the Drew Colored School from the time of its establishment in 1921."
