Note: The Red Star Red Army Chorus and Dance Ensemble named after A. V. Aleksandrov. This song is very popular because it was sung by the great Russian singer Fëdor Shaliapin (1873-1938) — it's certainly in the collections of the Piatnitskii Chorus and Red Army Ensemble. The lyrics here are different than those sung by the large choruses. Here the emphasis is on the peasants' brawn compensating for lack of machines invented by Englishmen.
