Description: A reenactment of a Parchman Farm work-song, sung with hoe accompaniment by Walter Brown, Joe Savage, and friends, in Greenville, Mississippi. Brown and Savage were both former Parchman inmates (and we assume their companions were too). Shot by Alan Lomax, John Bishop, and Worth Long, in August 1978.
