alboka
A distinctive Basque instrument, it is similar to a clarinet with a double-bored pipe, two horns, and two reeds. Playing an alboka is similar to playing a bagpipe, as it requires air be blown out non stop, though it doesn't have a bag to store the air in. Instead, players employ circular breathing, the action of taking in and blowing at air at the same time.
