Note: Blythman explains the story of "Superintendent Thomas Barrett," a Scotland Yard detective who was sent to investigate the disappearance of the Stone of Scone. He wrote the song in anticipation of a plan to kidnap Barrett, and saw it as a source of "morale building." He explains the lyrics, some of which are in Scots dialect.
