Note: Vera Hall talks about her faith that God will provide her with what she needs. She only makes 7 dollars a week. She doesn't buy clothes, and has a doctor who treats her for free. Her mother passed away a year ago from a stroke. She had rheumatism for eight years before the stroke and was living with Vera. Her mother had a very large funeral and was loved by white and blacks alike. (A radio transmission can be heard at the beginning of the track. It was either on in the house or the signal bled into the recorder electrically.)
