Note: Bessie uses a parable to explain why there are so many Christian denominations. Peter and the disciples were walking by the seashore. St. Peter took a small rock from his pocket and Jesus turned it into a piece of bread. The next time, St. Peter rolled a very large rock to Jesus, who said he aimed to build a church upon it. Peter, wanting more bread, objected, so Jesus relented and made bread out of Peter's large rock. Jesus then made a church with 11 rocks produced by the disciples (instead of the one rock as he originally intended).
