Lomax describes her in his notes: "Nearly sixty, two children, brought up in Moidart, went away to Glasgow to work, met husband in Fort William (he came from same district), married end of first world war, settled in Fort William, then gamekeeper till '35 while son was in North Africa way, came and bought a teashop here in Onich."
