Note: Chris Smith, in "Blues & Gospel Records, 1893–1942" (Fifth Ed.) writes: "the 1930 census lists seven Pinnacle children; the five youngest are Myrtle, George, Rosa B., Naomi, and Ruth, who would have been aged from 14 to 8 in January 1937, and are probably the "Five Pinnacle Children" to whom band 909-B-2 is credited [on AFS card]." The percussion they employ is unidentified - sounds possibly like a hoe.
About the session: Sacred songs performed by Minnie and Lillie Knox, and game and play songs by Chandler and Pinnacle children and friends.
