Note: This is a part of the adhan (call to prayer) recorded at a distance in Kelaa M’Gouna in the Valley of the Dades, east of Ouarzazate. This is easily identified as adhan for Salat al-Fajr (the dawn prayer, one of the five required prayers of Islam) because of the extra line 'as-salatu khairu min an-naum' (prayer is better than sleep) which is only recited at this time.
