Note: The unidentified boy exclaims, in reference to his performance of "One Two Three Four Five," "I've missed out a verse, Daddy!" According to Ewan McVicar, however, the rhyme is complete.
About the session: Recordings of Ewan MacColl made, according to Shirley Collins' note on the tape box, in 1957 or 1958. The "unidentified boy" reciting children's rhymes, according to Ewan McVicar, may be the son of a Theatre Workshop colleague of MacColl's.
